A recent study shares that the median self-pay price for medication abortion significantly increased from $495 in 2017 to $560 in 2020. According to local abortion clinics, a first-trimester abortion costs around $300-$950 in Indiana. 

Price also varies by the provider; clinics and private practices typically offer lower costs than hospitals.

Indiana Medicaid will not cover abortion costs except in cases of life endangerment, certain health circumstances, rape, or incest, so these costs could be out-of-pocket if using a state health plan.
